This calendar isn't comprehensive and some dates are subject to change or may see additions — CTBF is still awaiting official 2027 NBC tournament dates, and items like CTBF Day, cappings and fundraisers will be added once confirmed. NBC trials are projected to start early November 2026 but that is not yet confirmed.
Local baseball club dominates Western Cape team selection
Over 50 Bothasig members were selected for the Western Cape team ahead of the 2026 South African Baseball Union National Championship — roughly one in every four provincial players comes from our club. Two wins in one weekend kept Bothasig's unbeaten Major League record intact — 11–2 over Thistle on Saturday behind veteran reliever Darren Smith, then 15–7 at home over VOB on Sunday.
Bothasig Knights continue dominance
An 11-game unbeaten run continued with a 12–0 shutout of defending champions Bellville, sparked by a second-inning grand slam from Nicholas Eagles. The result put coach Raymond Tew's side firmly in the hunt to take the Cape Town Baseball Major League title back from Bellville.

Abe Sher Stadium hosted the Junior National Baseball Championship, with Western Cape A and Gauteng A unbeaten in the U18 division heading into the finals. The tournament also marked the return of women's baseball at junior level after a six-year absence.

Bothasig held off a late VOB rally to win 11–7, with Dayle Feldtman and JP Norman driving the offence. VOB left twelve runners on base and couldn't complete a ninth-inning comeback, as Bellville Tygers held top spot in the league that season.

Bothasig clinched a second consecutive BAWP Major League title, beating Silvertree 15–0 to finish the season 23–4. Pitchers Dylan Unsworth and Jared Elario anchored the league's stingiest defence — and the squad kept winning even with five players away on national duty.
